I present to you- a series of incoherent thoughts which have entered my mind on this disappointing saturday.

What is our world coming to? I seriously believe that i was born in the wrong generation. Children are buying into all of the gimmicks of modern day society, lock, stock, and barrel.

My first example is twilight. It came out as a popular read and I ashamed to inform you that I joined in on the band wagon. I was embarrassed at school because the conversations would often gravitate towards the subject of this book which I haven't acquainted myself with. "Rio you'll love it, its just like Harry Potter!" PHYSIQUE! its a harry potter wannabe. A simple read which one can analyzed at all angles, only to find it has no significant meaning(except of course the generic vampire plot line). It's just a stupid generic overdone plot line which i can sum up in less than five sentences. And I will because in all honesty its 30 pages of characterization, 300 pages of nothingness, then 50 pages of OMG plot! something interesting! and of course cliff hanger ending to get you to buy the next one...

Girl meets vampire, inexplicably falls inlove with him. Girl becomes damzle in distress. Vampire saves damzle.

If you're going to watch the movie, please tell me it's solely based on the fact Cedric (DIGGORY NOT FRICKIN EDWARD) is hot.

Also, I was at school today and I was talking to my usual lunch group and came upon the subject of futuristic movies. I made a joke of poor humor it was "For the longest time I based the future on Buck Rogers, but after Wall-e i decided that future seems accurate!"

And of course i got some forced chuckles until a brave soul (bless your heart, im sorry im even mentioning this person in anyway that isnt amazing) asked "whose buck rogers"

KFJSDKDJHDJFKSJFH now i admit, it is a bit of a classic, and too old for kids, especially my age, to know about. but please parents! EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN! DID YOU KNOW 92 PERCENT OF CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13-18 DO NOT KNOW WHO TINY TIM IS!? AND DID YOU KNOW THAT 75 PERCENT OF STATISTICS ARE MADE UP ON THE SPOT?!

On a lighter note
Delegate David Poisson is officially my favorite Delegate for creating an equal grading scale. No longer will I be subjected to "Dead Mans Curve" Where 94 is an A while the rest of the world can just get an A with a 90!
